What is Barn Stars Animal Rescue?
Barn Stars Animal Rescue is a safe haven for farm animals in need of a forever home. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2023 by Greg & Danelle Knutson. We care for small to medium-sized farm animals, including alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and ducks Learn more about us.
Does Barn Stars adopt out animals?
At this time, Barn Stars does not adopt out animals. We are a forever home for our residents, who will spend their lives here. We might decide to adopt out or foster other animals in the future if that’s where our journey takes us. Stay tuned! Better yet, sign up for our newsletter, and we’ll keep you posted on all happenings at our farm.
Where do the animals come from?
We have found our current and past Stars through a variety of private and public sectors. Many of our animals in the past have come from Pasado’s Safe Haven in Sultan, Wash.
What types of animals do you save?
We aspire to care for small to medium-sized farm animals, such as alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and ducks — but we are open to suggestions!
How can I make a donation?
There are many ways to donate. One-time and ongoing cash donations, Shop & Give, volunteering, and providing physical goods are all great ways to support Barn Stars Animal Rescue. Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible. Our Tax ID is 92-2086044.
Can I visit the farm?
Yes! We offer scheduled tours for large or small groups. Drop us a line through our Contact page, and we will be in touch.
Can I volunteer to help the Stars?
Yes! We schedule regular Volunteer Days throughout the year to have work groups help improve the farm — there’s always something to do! If you are interested, please send a note through our Contact page, connect with us on Facebook and Instagram, and sign up for our newsletter. You’ll never miss a beat!
